My Name is Eva Schifter and I have started this blog to share my recipes and love of cooking and food with everyone. I am dedicated to using fresh, local, seasonal, organic ingredients as much as possible and supporting local businesses.
Cooking for me is an amazing activity, it is a practice in which I can be completely present in, and appreciative of every moment. Creating nourishment using quality whole food ingredients brings me immeasurable amounts of joy and satisfaction.
I currently live in Portland OR. I grew up just 60 miles away in Hood River OR, to this day the most beautiful place I have ever been. I love where I live, it is amazingly beautiful and full of wonderful people, animals, and FOOD!
I hope you will get as much satisfaction out of my recipes as I do. Thank you for reading!
